Twin Zygosity DNA Test Results

The results of a twin zygosity DNA test will reveal whether the tested twins are identical or fraternal. By comparing the twins’ DNA profiles, our laboratory can conclusively determine whether the siblings developed from one zygote (identical twins) or two zygotes (fraternal twins).

Twin zygosity tests have a turnaround time of 5-7 business days. You may opt to receive your test results by mail or fax. You may also choose to receive your results via email if you are taking a private twin zygosity test.
