A paternity test has two possible results. Each result is indicated by the Probability of Paternity listed on the result report.
A Probability of Paternity of
99% or higher
means the alleged father
is not excluded
as the biological father of the child. DNA Diagnostics Centre routinely achieves probabilities well above 99.99% for paternity tests.
A Probability of Paternity of
0%
means the alleged father
is excluded
as the biological father of the child. In other words, he is not the father.
Your paternity test will be completed within 5-7 business days from the time our laboratory receives all the required DNA samples. You may request to receive your results via mail or fax. If you are taking a peace of mind paternity test, you may also request to receive your results via email.
