Genetic Reconstruction DNA Test Participants

A genetic reconstruction test requires the participation of several individuals.

  • If the child’s mother is available for testing, we will need to test her, the child, and at least two close relatives* of the unavailable alleged father.
  • If the child’s mother is not available for testing, we will need to test the child and at least three close relatives* of the unavailable alleged father.

* Close relatives are defined as the biological parents and full siblings of the alleged father.
